Ceox celebrate International Women’s Day

Ceox’s growing team celebrate International Women’s Day

Since our early days, Ceox have focused on building a diverse and engaged team that not only supports business growth and our public sector customer needs but also reflects diverse perspectives and experiences.

On 8th March the Ceox Team celebrated International Women’s Day in our Guildford offices.  In 2018, our technology team included just a couple of women. As our revenues have grown, this FY delivering over £7m and 11,000 delivery days, the company has expanded. As a B Corp organisation a key part of the expansion have been our efforts to create a more inclusive and balanced workforce. By 2022, the number of Women in the Ceox Team had grown to eight, and today, in 2025, we are proud to have 20 women contributing across our technology teams.

This progress has been intentional. It is the result of consistently focusing on hiring the right talent, delivering great projects, creating opportunities, and fostering an environment where individuals can grow and thrive.

Why It Matters in a Growing Startup‍ ‍

In a fast-growing organisation like Ceox, building diverse teams is not only a cultural priority but also a strategic advantage. The technology landscape is highly competitive, with increasing demand for skilled professionals. We have built a team with technical specialists focusing on Power Platform, Dynamics 365 and Microsoft’s AI products. Additionally, demand from our government clients has meant we have also extended the range of services, meaning that in addition to our well-established Agile Delivery Teams, we are adding resources to our Business Analysis, Functional Consultant and Test Teams. By creating inclusive opportunities, we are able to access a wider talent pool, encourage different ways of thinking, and deliver stronger, more innovative outcomes for our public sector clients.

Diversity brings measurable value from improved collaboration to better problem-solving and decision-making. For us, investing in diversity is directly linked to delivering our Social Value commitments to our public sector clients and building a resilient and future-ready organisation with a focus on delivering innovative and compelling applications across government.

Creating Space for Conversations‍ ‍

To celebrate this progress, our office recently hosted an International Women’s Day meet and greet. The session provided a platform for open conversations around career journeys, experiences, and the realities of women working in the technology sector.

The discussions highlighted the importance of creating environments where individuals feel confident to share their perspectives and contribute meaningfully. Progress is not driven by a single voice, but by a collective willingness to listen, learn, and grow together.

We would like to extend our thanks to Madhu S. and Helen T for organising the event and creating a space for these important conversations. We also thank all the participants whose insights and experiences made the session impactful.

Looking Ahead‍ ‍

While we are proud of the progress we have made, we recognise that this is only the beginning. There is more to be done to continue supporting and enabling women to build successful careers in technology.

At Ceox, we remain committed to strengthening our efforts — not only by increasing representation but by ensuring long-term growth, development, and opportunity for all.
