A Platform Approach
Typically, organisations looking for a line of business system will look at two approaches, either a Product Based approach or a Bespoke Build approach. Microsoft Dynamics 365 provides advantages over both with a Platform approach. A platform approach provides a level of configuration not available in a Product with lower implementation costs than a Bespoke build. There is a larger user community for Dynamics 365 and organisations do not have to wait for desired functionality to make it to the top of a Product’s wish list. Organisations are also free to move to other organisations for support and maintenance which wouldn’t be possible with a Product. Using Dynamics 365 as a platform provides a cost effective, future proof and flexible way to deliver business applications.
