Intelligent Automation Interest Delivers Record Ceox Turnover in H1 2020/2021

We are delighted with our half year results with sales revenues up 24% on the same period last year.  It has been a challenging period with some sectors held back as a result of the Pandemic. However, with Covid-19, the subsequent lockdown and the impact on working and customer behaviours there has been an acceleration in the adoption of digital technology presenting an opportunity for innovative solutions such as Intelligent Automation.

The foundation of the strong H1 financial performance has been our Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement revenues which strengthened with development and support engagements in government departments, public bodies and the housing sector. However, it has been our Intelligent Automation capability that has seen dramatic growth and improving profitability – up over 55% on the same period last year.

Ceox CTO Gavin Harte explained, “We were fortunate to have had the right product at the right time”.  Our recently developed Public Enquiry Management Solution includes a capability to automate the classification and allocation of incoming customer enquiries. The research and development required to develop this functionality meant we had an excellent understanding of how Microsoft’s Power Platform Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) features enabled customers to establish unmanned processing of customer enquiries.  When the Pandemic hit, many of our customers saw a wave of digital enquiries and were looking to Automation as a potential solution.  With our experience we have been able to demonstrate how the Microsoft Power Platform solution can work, automating the classification, recording and allocation of customer enquiries and demonstrate the benefits it brings in terms of customer experience and staff productivity.

Gavin added, “With the Cabinet Office Automation Task Force promoting Automation to the public sector, further improvements in the Microsoft technology stack and our Intelligent Automation reputation growing we are confident of building a strong pipeline of opportunities in this area of developing interest”.

Microsoft’s Power Platform includes Power Automate and Power Apps with AI Builder.  Our Intelligent Automation solution utilises AI Builder to classify and categorise data with Power Automate linking these steps together.  With customers already invested in Microsoft Office 365, an Intelligent Automation solution can be developed quickly. Automation can be tactically deployed in response to a specific issue, for example classifying incoming enquiries or used more strategically as part of an overall programme of operational improvement.
