New Services for G-Cloud 12 Framework

Crown Commercial Services (CCS) have announced the latest list of suppliers and services included on the 12th iteration of the highly successful G-Cloud Framework. G-Cloud is part of CCS’s Digital Marketplace and enables public sector organisations to identify and select suppliers that can support digital transformation projects with software, hosting or support services.

Our previous G-Cloud 11 submission offered services in Microsoft Dynamics 365, Office 365 and Case Management and these are will continue in G-Cloud 12. In addition, and in response to growing Public Sector interest we have taken the opportunity to update our software and support services to include our expertise in Intelligent Automation encompassing both Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) utilising Microsoft’s Power Platform. We have also added an AI enabled Public Enquiry Management solution based on Dynamics 365.

New Public Sector Intelligent Automation Services

Prior to the Pandemic the continued focus on digital transformation within UK Public Sector had seen some curiosity in Intelligent Automation. With many UK Public Sector organisations using Dynamics 365 and Office 365, Ceox have been exploiting the out of the box capabilities of Microsoft’s Power Platform to implement quick-win automation and AI to support citizen engagement and deliver efficiencies. Power Platform is a business applications platform that includes Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, Power Apps and Power BI. Microsoft created it so that it supports automating processes, creating virtual agents, building solutions and analysing data. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic we supported a number of government agencies, public bodies and housing associations with automation and AI features that improved citizen engagement and team productivity.

Intelligent Automation Services on G-Cloud 12

Since the pandemic we have seen the appetite for RPA and AI accelerate rapidly. Citizens are becoming increasingly comfortable with digital technology; digital channels are becoming more popular and there is an expectation that public services are available 24/7. We are currently supporting several customers to implement process automation including a government department that had seen a six-fold increase in public enquiries since the start of the pandemic. We conducted a Discovery to assess how RPA could support staff responding to enquiries. Work is continuing with the development of a Power Platform based solution designed to automate the capture, recording and processing of public enquiries. The process automation will deliver streamlined processes and ensure customer service is maintained despite the massive increase in workloads for staff.

  • Power Automate Robotic Process Automation - Our Power Automate Robotic Process Automation (RPA) offering enables Public Sector organisations to do more with less. Microsoft’s Power Automate, part of Power Platform, enables developers and users to quickly build secure and scalable Business Process Automation (BPA) workflows, enabling the automation of mundane tasks, freeing team members up to perform higher-value activities.

  • Microsoft Conversational Artificial Intelligence - Ceox Conversational AI empowers Public Sector organisations to exploit Artificial Intelligence by delivering intelligent conversational agents to interact with citizens. Chatbots can be delivered with the more sophisticated Microsoft AI Azure Bot Service or using the drag and drop Power Virtual Agents functionality delivered as part of the Power Platform.
