Intelligent Automation Wins Ceox a Place on the Crown Commercial Service RM6173 Automation Marketplace Framework

Intelligent Automation

Ceox’s Robotic Process Automation (RPA) expertise has been recognised with its recent selection by Crown Commercial Service (CCS) as a supplier on CCS’s latest Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) Automation Marketplace Framework RM6173.

Many government departments recognise the benefits that automation brings in terms of streamlining processes and systems to enhance services for customers and improve productivity for staff.  CCS is responsible for improving government commercial and procurement activity and the timely delivery of the Automation Framework will provide Government Departments, Public Bodies, Agencies, and Housing Associations with access to specialist automation suppliers that can identify opportunities to improve services and deliver efficiencies through the implementation of new automation applications, processes and RPA technologies.

Gavin Harte, Ceox CTO stated, “RPA is a Ceox specialism and COVID-19 has accelerated the adoption of automation technology. Government Departments, public bodies, NHS Trusts and local authorities have all adopted Intelligent Automation as a way to empower their staff and enable teams to deliver more”.

Our Intelligent Automation Practice is helping organisations like Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) implement RPA to deal with an unprecedented increase in digital enquiries. The new CCS Automation Framework provides a simple, quick and flexible procurement route to enable organisations across public sector to access our innovative approach, expertise and experience.

RPA technology is continually evolving and it is extremely difficult for organisations to keep up to date and to understand what is possible, cost-effective and realistic. With our RPA Discovery we have been working with organisations to raise awareness of new automation applications, processes, technology, trends and directions. For example, Microsoft’s Office 365 includes baked-in automation features which, for those invested in O365, can be a cost-effective way for organisations to pilot whether Intelligent Automation can improve service delivery.

If successful then additional Automation and Artificial Intelligence features can be developed using market leading platforms such as Blue Prism, UiPath and Microsoft’s Power Platform capabilities with Power Automate, Power Apps and AI builder.

The new Automation Framework covers Design, Build, Live Support and Software Licences, and organisations will be able to access our Intelligent Automation services at several key stages of the lifecycle including:

  • Design (incorporating Strategy and Business Transformation) - Business Strategy and Change Management, Business Case Development, Benefits Realisation, Analytics, Cloud Migration Strategy, Automation Road Mapping, Customer Journey, Setting up a Centre of Excellence

  • Build (including Problem Solving with Digital Tech Solutions) - Business Process Optimisation, Business Process Improvement, Process Discovery, Desktop Automation, Robotic Process Automation, Cognitive Automation, Natural Language Processing, Optical Character Recognition, Computer Vision, Computer Audition, Text to Speech and Speech to Text, Machine Learning, Smart Workflow, Analytics

Commenting on the latest achievement, Steve Winslade who heads up our Dynamics 365 and Power Platform Practice said,  “I am delighted our hard work over the past 2 years developing Ceox’s Automation offering has secured a place and confirms our position as one of the leading providers of Automation and Robotic Process Automation Services.  We offer Discovery with a focus on identifying how RPA can support digital transformation, Agile Development from proof of concepts through to end to end solutions and products such our Public Enquiry Management solution that utilises RPA to streamline processes and increase productivity within teams responding to a range of customer enquiries from Ministerial Correspondence to FOI requests”.
